It’s a really sad thing the media, as well as state officials steadfastly refuse to educate themselves, and then the public about the almost non existent threat these victims of the registry pose to the general population; but then again, I believe this is intentional and I believe many in the media and state do in fact know the truth. Heaven forbid the parasites making $$$$ off of the lie have their cash cow yanked out from under them. It’s like this in all 50 states. This is allot like Nazi Germany where that country, just like this country, were cashing in on a lie.
My god… the comments on that article.
“Barlow lives on a busy neighborhood street not far from a school in town. Previously, sex offenders would have been prevented from living in that immediate area because it’s within 1,000 feet of a school and playground.”
“Her family’s home is only a stone’s throw away from a school field.” – Kari Mendoza
Actually, this article says it all. It is never, never something like “… said blank whose home is outside of the buffer zone but who supports the ordinance in order to protect children at schools and parks”.
At least this article makes it clear, crystal clear that this is all about people’s neighbors. And more to the point, their property values.
